Subconscious Breakthrough and the Gypsy Within

Subconscious Breakthrough and the Gypsy Within

Yoga Nidra Flyer April 2016
The lessons of our past, our pains and the opportunities that is our potential is often a stunning, humbling process.  And often times, it is hard to put into words what is felt and experienced. There are so many elements, time points, and experiences that are connected and inter-related.
I feel so blessed for the women who have been joining me each week for our Soup & Soul Coaching Series.  The breakthroughs, the shifts, the connections and the support they have been sharing with each other have been absolutely amazing!  Our hearts are most touched and our growth most powerful when we join together and share our successes and struggles.  When we can relate with each other to provide support, and to help each other reframe our minds allow us to move from what we may be stuck with in our past so that we can experience the important breakthroughs that show us the possibilities in our present.
I have been going through my own deep process in the last few weeks, culminating in an amazing breakthrough last night.  Though the breakthrough burst forth in a matter of a few minutes, all the feelings I felt, books I’ve recently read, questions I challenged myself with, conversations shared, have all been essential ingredients for that moment of transformation.  Within community, we are not isolated beings; within ourselves, there is no one isolated incident.  We are taught and informed by all that has happened to us, whether we realize it or not.
The statistic is quite stunning.  It’s been said that the subconscious mind runs about 95-98% of what we think, say and do.  Whether it be the tasks of living, such as breathing and digesting, to how we perceive ourselves, process our experiences, and see the world.  The subconscious mind informs and directs how we think, process and react to ourselves and our environments.
It is now March,  Your New Year’s Resolutions have probably flown out the window weeks ago.  Or maybe you are in the middle of Lent, struggling to engage in positive behavior for your mind and spirit.  Many of us struggle to make change and control our environments and behaviors so that we can feel safe, peaceful, happy.  What we don’t realize is if we hold conflicting beliefs in our subconscious, we can exert great effort consciously without the success we hope to achieve.  That is why so many goals and resolutions die quickly, and we feel frustrated over our lack of progress and forward momentum in our lives.
It is so much easier to get in touch with what’s lying beneath our conscious mind that is directing our thoughts, words and actions.  By shifting our beliefs in the subconscious and aligning ourselves with our true identities, that we are able to connect with and harness the infinite Source and Power.   This Source can take care of all the frustrating “how’s” in our lives that so often trip us up and keep us trapped because we can’t seem to figure everything out.
I heard something powerful today – the simple, secret formula for success is… INTENTION, ATTENTION, NO TENSION.  I absolutely love it!  The Meditation & Manifesting Yoga Nidra Immersion, April 22-24, totally follows this formula.  The weekend is designed for you to know what your true intention is so you don’t live your moments aimless and struggling unnecessarily.  Through powerful breathing techniques, visualizations and affirmations, you bring attention to release the old and to realize what you want.  And the delicious part of it all is you get to lie down, close your eyes and be gently and lovingly guided to complete, total relaxation!  No Tension.  Yummy!
Part of the mis-belief we have about ourselves and our lives is that we must work hard, struggle, stress over what it is we want in our lives.  How’s that working for you?  Would you consider lying down, relaxing, and being guided to your success?  Doesn’t that sound so much more delicious?  Yes, we do need to apply effort – to know what is truly important to us – but whoever said that effort needs to be filled with tension?  Who wrote that story?  Is it time to release this limiting belief?
What you may come to find out is that underneath all the struggles, stress, conflict, fears, doubts, indecisions, frustrations may be a very vibrant, full of life gypsy. Well, maybe that’s just me.  Maybe you are a rockstar!   Or a rocket launcher.  Whatever it may be, wouldn’t it be fun to find out?  Know your Intention so you can apply focused Attention and experience your different kind happy of with No Tension.  How totally inspiring.  Join me!
 Namaste,
:)phi
